Toyota North Carolina Operational Program
Our Toyota Operational Program (TOPS) introduces top entry-level talent to engineering and operations areas within an automotive battery manufacturing environment and provides an accelerated pathway to a fulfilling career with Toyota North Carolina.
Eligibility
  • Bachelor’s degree in an engineering or business discipline from an accredited college or university
  • Overall cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher (on a 4.0 scale) 
  • Prior internship and/or co-op experience in an engineering or business-related area 
  • Must be willing to support any shift 
What to Expect
TOPS is a two-year developmental program that includes rotational assignments across production, engineering, production control and quality. The program also offers opportunities for technical and soft skill development, networking, and mentorship. Specific rotation assignments are chosen based on current business needs and trainees’ educational backgrounds.
After the Program
Upon successful program completion, TOPS Trainees are placed into a full-time role in one of the completed rotation areas. TOPS Graduates form the talent pool from which future Toyota North Carolina Leaders, Managers, and Executives emerge.
