What to Expect:
Day of Work (DOW) Assessments
We appreciate your interest in the Production Team Member role at Toyota Battery Manufacturing North Carolina (TBMNC) and look forward to you continuing the process. 

Please arrive at our temporary office at 1701 Pinecrest Ln, Greensboro, NC 27407 at your scheduled time and check in with security. Your Day of Work assessments will include one or more of the following: A hands-on exercise, a physical activity assessment, and an interview. Please note the entire Day of Work can take up to 4 hours. Upon successful completion of all activities, candidates can leave with a written job offer.

Preparing for the assessment(s)

Every stage of the assessment process is focused on the skills needed for the Production Team Member role. 
Hands-On Assessment
This assessment uses a few common tools. It helps to be familiar with a caliper, ruler, scale, and a calculator. 

Among other tasks, you will be asked to use these tools to measure objects in millimeters/inches, weigh items in grams/ounces, and perform basic math calculations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division). This assessment takes approximately 1 hour to complete and you will be standing for the duration of the assessment.
Physical Activity Assessment
This assessment examines your ability to perform physical work related to the job. You will perform tasks involving pushing, pulling, lifting, and walking up/down stairs. This assessment takes approximately 1 hour to complete. To prepare, make sure you bring comfortable clothes and closed-toe tennis shoes.
Interview
The interview is a one-on-one conversation between yourself and a Toyota team member. You will be asked questions about your past job experiences and expected to answer with specific examples of situations you have encountered. To prepare, think of past work experiences and the part you contributed toward the outcome. If you can, practice being interviewed.
